RTSRPG - Real Time Strategy Role Playing Game (Work in progress - Unity)

If you'd like to download a windows build, it is located here - simply download, unzip, and run file 'RTSRPG.exe'

My current project - Will be adding onto it periodically.  Phase 3 has been completed!  UI has been implemented, as well as gather and build tasks.  Units are able to build buildings and gather resources to drop them off at the closest depot. 

 

Use the builder and other villagers to build the test depot near the trees and use the lumberjacks to chop them down!  There is also a miner and farmer nearby, you can test them out as well!

The full game will be a mixture between RTS and RPG, in which two players will be competing against each other for resources and objectives, to level up their units and train combatant units such as mages and warriors.  Overwhelm your opponent and destroy their base to win the game!

Known issues:

- After double clicking a unit to focus them, when you move the unit with right click, the mouse position is off.  This will be fixed in the next release.

- On web version: Clicking the 'Quit' button will result in the page freezing.  If you move your cursor to the URL bar area, you should see your cursor again and can close the tab.

- On web version: Mouse cursor is slightly large.  This does not occur on Windows build, and will be fixed in a future release.

Controls:

- Right click to pan around the map, or move your cursor to the edge of the map to move in that direction.

- Zooming using the scroll wheel will change the camera's Field of View for a zoom-in/out effect.

- Units, buildings, and resources can be selected using left click. 

- A single right click will tell the selected unit what to do, and they will continue on with the requested task.
